Tai Chi is the Perfect Ancient Exercise for the Modern AgeTai Chi Chuan has benefitted me in so many ways that I believe everybody should at least give it a try. I want to create the kind of site that I haven't been able to find, with information, reviews and links to other good sites for all styles of Tai Chi and Qiqong.I began to study Yang style Tai Chi just over a year ago and it is one of my best ever discoveries. I am amazed at the diference it has made in my life and the speed that changes began to happen. If you list all the potential benefits it sounds like hype. I don't care, I just want tell everybody about it. And one of the best benefits of all is that it's fun. I am the kind of person who when I do something, I like to do it, read the book, see the film and buy the tee shirt. So naturally, when I took up Tai Chi, I started scouring the internet for sites, books, DVDs and resources to aid my practice. It has been very difficult to find exactly what are was looking for. I have watched DVDs that turn out to be poor quality or very different from what I am learning. I have read books that are interesting but not helpful as an aid to learning. I have found some good websites but with a narrow focus and some poor ones. On this site I want to provide useful content, reviews and comment and links to other good resources. Since I only know Yang Style and I'm a relative beginner at that, I want to make it possible for visitors to add their own reviews, opinions and links to their favourite sites. Talk about your style or your teacher, tell everybody about good stuff you've found. Why did you take up Tai Chi class and what do you get from it? It was a very short time before I started to see health benefits such as weight loss, improved balance and posture and rediced back pain. It is my goal to make this a place where everyone can share their views and their experiences and be able to find what they are looking for more easily than I did. I hope I have taken the first steps of a lifelong journey. Why not come along?
